Limay Senior High School’s “Bayanihan para sa Paaralan” efforts paid off as it was acknowledged as the 3rd best Brigada Eskwela 2021 best implementer (senior high school-Large schools category) in the DepEd-Schools Division of Bataan in accordance to the Division Memorandum No. 498 series of 2021 released last October 19.
Samal National High School (Main) and Morong National High School (Senior High) won 1st and 2nd place, respectively, in similar category.
Limay SHS is the only school in DepEd SDO Bataan-Limay Annex that pulled off a podium place in this year’s Brigada Eskwela best implementer awards.
Magno M. Manuel, Brigada Eskwela 2021 over-all chair, acknowledged the support of the school administration and the teachers who worked in different BE committees as the keys for the successful campaign of the said annual school program.
"Siyempre, masaya, kasi unang-una, pinagkatiwalaan ako ni Sir Visda for the second time na ako ang teacher-in-charge sa Brigada Eskwela. Pangalawa, magagaling ang ating mga committee at mga teachers na kasama ko na very creative,” stressed Manuel.
Manuel also gave credit to the generosity of the donors who were instrumental in generating materials for the construction of the concrete pathway and purchase of safety essentials to be used by the school for its Covid-19 prevention efforts.
“Pangatlo, mababait at willing tumulong ‘yung mga taong nagdonate para sa Brigada Eskwela: Sa semento, sa bakal, sa buhangin, sa lahat ng mga pagawaan na nilapitan namin ay walang atubiling nagbigay. Pang-apat, ang mga kasamahan naming mga guro na tumulong din, very supportive din ang mga kasamahan namin sa Limay Senior High School, ganoon din ang ating principal na si Sir Reynaldo Visda, pati na din ang ating district supervisor na si Ma’am Elma Dizon na very supportive din. Higit sa lahat, nagpapasalamat ako sa Diyos at nanalo kami,” Manuel added.
“Sana masundan pa uli. Sa akin lang naman, gumawa ng maayos, gumawa ng trabaho para sa Brigada Eskwela ng taos sa puso," quipped Manuel about his aim of the school’s continuous success in Brigada Eskwela.
This year's Brigada Eskwela was conducted last August 3 to September 30 that carried the theme “Bayanihan para sa Paaralan.”
