CITY OF BALANGA------The Municipality of Limay is represented by the young dancers and visual artists in the float parade and street dancing festivities of the 263rd Bataan Foundation Anniversary, Capitol Compound, Brgy. San Jose, this morning.
The 1st class municipality's float flaunted a ship that features its patron saint Francis of Assisi at the center piece with the new look town hall, and is surrounded by the logos of the major industries such as the Government Arsenal and the Petron Bataan Refinery, the largest oil refinery in the Philippines. The facade of the ship was hand painted with the legend of the town.
The town's float was designed and created by the students of Lamao National High School-Senior High.
Meanwhile, the street dancers of the town were composed of the dancers who represented Limay in the Pawikan Festival last November 2019 and the actors of the annual "Pagbubunyi."
Supervising in the side street was Mrs. Marie Grace David, the Limay Tourism Council chair.
The float parade and street dance is one of the culminating activities of the week-long celebration.
Current and former students of Limay Senior High School were seen in action in the street dancing.
